About Us
Our Mission: The mission of the Florence Area Community Coalition is to improve the quality of life in Western Lane County through partnerships, networking, volunteerism, community involvement, education and awareness.
Our Board: Ken Gaylord, President; Nancy Glines, Vice President and Secretary; Brenda Gilmer, Treasurer; Members at Large, Monica Kosman and Dylan Huber-Heidorn, Past President.

- Quality Child Care of Florence
- Miller Park Skate Park
- West Lane Translator (Community Radio)
- Friends of Honeyman State Park
- Siuslaw Education Foundation
- Florence Farmers Market
Each year, FACC offers a scholarship to an outstanding student who demonstrates a commitment to volunteerism. The scholarship is open to Mapleton and Siuslaw high school seniors. The application is due by April 1. Scholarship applications are available through the school counselers.
